About AutoShorts
AutoShorts writes a short script with a strong hook and a call to action, using facts from Wikipedia for any topic or the best sentences of your article, in one of six formats: Did you know, Top list, Explainer, Story, Mystery or Motivation. It records a natural AI voiceover, adds moving backgrounds and royalty-free music that drops under the voice, and burns in animated word-by-word captions. You get a 9:16 MP4 ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, with a ready-made caption and hashtags.
The 40 AI voices run on your own computer, in English (American and British), Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese and Hindi, so your scripts stay private and voiceovers are unlimited. You can also record your own voice line by line, in any language. Videos can be made in seven languages, including Arabic with right-to-left captions, and the app itself is available in all seven.
Tweak any line, caption style, background or sound in the editor, with a live 9:16 preview and safe-zone guides for TikTok and Shorts. Use your own photos and clips with smooth zoom-and-pan motion, or free stock footage from Pexels. The free version makes 3 exports a week in 720p with a small watermark; AutoShorts Pro adds unlimited 1080p exports with no watermark, and all voices, looks, caption styles and music moods.
The AI voices (about 107 MB) download once on first use, then work offline. The German voice is a separate 20 MB download.
