About BlackHole

Screenshots go to Pictures › Screenshots, PDFs to Documents › PDFs, videos to Videos and archives to Downloads › Archives. Installers go to the Event Horizon, a holding area that empties itself after 48 hours. Eighteen ready-made rules cover common file types, and you can add your own by type, name or size.

Sweep desktop clears every loose file at once, and you can watch them spiral into the hole. Hold Shift to park files, or hold Ctrl to choose the folder yourself. Every move is recorded, so any drop or sweep can be undone from Activity, and BlackHole never overwrites files and protects system folders.

Turn on Gravity to clean up old desktop files automatically, and choose the Ember, Frost or Void look in three sizes. BlackHole works offline with no account, in English and Arabic, with light and dark themes.
